Here are some things we love about our little girl:
* The cute little faces she makes when she is waking up
*She makes the funniest noises in her sleep you would think she is awake but nope sound asleep just very noisy.
*Her Smile!!! She is starting to smile at us and I love it!
*Her sweet spirit
*Sleeping next to her
*Playing dress up with her
*Taking pictures of her
*Going on our walks to "get the mail" (Jeff laughs at me cause we "get the mail" like 3 times a day, really it's just code for Liberty won't stop crying lets go on a walk that will calm her down.
Things I have learned in the past month:
*It is possible to pray 24 hours a day :)
*Starting to figure out her different cries
*Babies can go 6 days without "going to the bathroom" ( I freaked out but I guess it's ok)
*I can survive on very little sleep
*You can love a little baby SO much!
*Patience
*Love
*How to make dinner with one hand the other one is holding Liberty.
*I'm reading everything I can find on Colic and babies sleeping at night.
*I pray every night that she starts sleeping at night, it has not happened yet but I know it will, I have to keep my faith or else it may never happen.

Very cute. The serious face is my favorite thing in the world right now.
I love that girl so much! She is so stinkin cute.
ah i can't handle how much i love this little girl that i haven't even met technically. please come up so i can hold her! and i LOVE that pic of her holding the mail. so funny/cute
Happy 1st Month Birthday!!
Amy, she's beautiful and just keeps getting more and more prettier as the days go on.
I love the pic of her holding the mail, lol. Happy first month Liberty! She will eventually sleep through the night,it may take awhile, but she will. You probably already do this, but sleep whever she is sleeping even if there are other things that need to be done, laundry, straigtening, dishes, dinner. Somethings just aren't as important as your wellbeing. Go easy on yourself, babies are a lot of work.
It seems impossible, but she is only getting cuter. You've reached the turning point. The first month is always the hardest and it only gets easier from here. Have you tried letter her sleep next to you? I don't know if it makes them feel like they're in the womb again or what, but I think they sleep better and longer when they're by your side. Anyway, you'll figure something out that works for her!
Sorry, I meant letting...not letter :)
Wow the things I have to look forward too! :) She is such a cutie, can't wait to see here.
Tell Jeff congrats and make sure you post pictures.
I really enjoyed this post. You are such a good mom Amy! Liberty is a very lucky girl!
I love her smile too she's so cute i want to meet her!!
One month old. It's so crazy, it's seems to go y so fast, but you can't really tell when time began with her, it's seems like she's always been there, huh.
Babies are so fun and a lot of work. Don't worry about her not sleeping through the night, it will come.
For Collic try Gripe Water, Millecan drops and try burping her like this...set her on your knee and make a peace sign with your two fingers. Find the base of her spine and place one finger on either side. Then work your fingers up to the top, keep doing it until you get a nice burp. You even be able to feel the bubbles in there once you continue doing it. When C was very whining and collicy/gassy, this was one of the only things that worked. I also instead of putting him over my shoulder I would bend him from side to side and front to back just to kind of work the bubbles out, I would also gently bounce him on my knee, that would really work. Anyway, good luck, it does get easier, it's always work, but it does get easier.
Love you woman.
I love those pictures. By the way, have you used gas drops? I used them all the time with Brooke and they really helped. I did give her way more than I was supposed to at a time though. It worked better and didn't seem to do any damage to her. My friend's baby had colic really bad too and for some reason really responded to Josh Groban music. Go figure. You will survive though. Love ya.
TIME FLIES!!!!
I can't believe little Liberty is a month old!!!! I was in Costco on Monday and I tried to get your attention, but did not succeed.. :(
Let me know if you ever need any help!!
Seriously, now that you finally have time to hang out I am no where near you. We won't be coming home for quite some time, it is already super expensive to fly and C will be 2 so we will have to pay for him too. And driving with 2 kids for that long in such a small car, NO WAY! We'll see though. You should go to my parents for their Halloween Party, it's supposed to be super fun. We did one 2 years ago when I was pregnant with C, and it was amazing. HUGE hit, you don't want to miss it, trust me.
Glad to see you're still alive! The first couple months can be pretty rough, mostly with the first baby when you don't know what you're doing...you'll get the hang of it. The second time around was a piece of cake, we need to come visit you here soon! I'll give you a call.
she looks so excited to have received a piece of mail! your little girl is adorable! I'm so happy for you guys!
