Bye Bye Baby

(Classic 1st day of anything, standing by the tree picture)

Sunday was Liberty's first time in Nursery, I was so excited to be able to actually go to my classes for once. We found her class and met the teachers. Liberty ran right to the toys and started playing. I stayed for a little bit maybe 10 min. There were ALOT of crying kids. But Liberty just looked at them like, are you crazy why are you crying there are toys here! It was so funny. She seemed fine so I left and found Jeff in Sunday School. Maybe 40 min later I see one of the teachers stick their heads in holding Liberty. She had fallen ASLEEP!!! LOL I guess they said they still had about 4 kids crying and after a while it got to Liberty. She got her little pouty lip climbed on the teachers lap and just crashed. I think that is SO funny. She woke up with about 20 min left of church so I went back in with her for the rest of the time. They still had about 3 kids crying. I don't like that they have all the younger kids together I wish I could put Liberty in the bigger class. I know if she went in there and everyone was just playing not crying she would do fine. Oh well. We we see. It was sure fun seeing how big she is getting. I feel like an old mom with my baby in Nursery. haha

I hate that too! For some reason that is how people do it but when I was put in as the nursery coordinator person that was the first thing I changed because it was totally infair to the kids and the teachers-no wonder they never came:) I would just ask and maybe they would put her in a different class.

you could say something. supposedly in the manual it says to mix the ages, that way the younger kids can learn from the older ones. maybe do some research and then bring it to their attention?
she is super cute.

That is awesome that she isn't scared of nursery. What a blessing! I can't wait for Elizabeth to go this month. And I still can't believe she is only 6 weeks older than Elizabeth. She seems so much older.

Alan and I are the Nursery coordinators in our ward, and it's actually in the manual to keep the age groups together. But really they can do whatever works best for their Nursery, I would just ask and see if they would be ok with it. Honestly they are supposed to do a 10 minute rule, if the kid cries for more than 10 mins they can invite the parent to come in or they can take their kid out. Anyway, just in case you wanted to know all the logistics of Nursery ;0) Good luck, at least it isn't your kiddo cryin. :) Enjoy the new found freedom!
