Is this for real?

Liberty has been going through a phase where she takes off her diaper and goes and throws it in the trash every time it's dirty. Some people have said this means she is ready to start potty training. Potty training terrifies me!!! I thought there is NO WAY! we will wait til after the baby comes. I thought even if she had to go how would she communicate to me she had to go. Well when we went to her 18 month well check the Dr. gave us a little article about getting ready for potty training, it basically just said to start helping them understand the potty and going to the bathroom. So every once in a while we will say when we change her diaper oh you went pee (pissss) good job! Or oh wow you went poo poo good job! Well she started to catch on to that fast every time I would go to the bathroom she would say pee mom psssss! haha

Well this morning as always she took off her diaper and put it in the trash I was being lazy and was letting her run around naked while I was getting breakfast ready. She kept trying to tell me something. otty otty mom, I was like what? trying to guess what she was trying to say, then I said OH you have to go potty? She says YES and runs into our bathroom and is trying to get on the toilet. I put her on just for fun but she starts grunting, I thought oh my goodness she is really gonna GO! So I told her hold on let me go get your potty. I ran out to grab her potty, put it in her bathroom and after about 5 min of getting on and off and grunting she pooped a little poo in the toilet!!!!! I was SHOCKED!!! So I made a huge deal, YEAH LIBERTY!!! we cleaned it up put it in the big toilet and I let her flush it. She thought that was pretty cool. Now I don't know if this will continue but I will definitely listen to when she says she has to go potty!
