My Moms Birthday

I have the best mom in the entire world! I know everyone thinks that, but really I do :) We had so much fun celebrating her birthday this year. We spent the day with her and all the grandkids but then that night we hightailed out of there for a girls night! :)
Of course first stop was dinner at Joe's Farm Grill, it was so nice to sit and talk and enjoy our momma!
Brooke joined us later at Kelsey's apartment for our at home spa night! I recommend this to everyone! It was so much fun! We had pedicures, facials, back rubs. You name it! We had candles lit all over to set the mood, and also had amazing spa music playing in the background.

My mom said I gave her the best pedicure she has ever had ;)
We enjoyed so yummy cake and then watched a movie. It was seriously one of the best birthdays I think we have ever pulled off. We had so much fun! Happy Birthday Mom we love you soooo much!

Liberty's 4th Birthday!

Liberty's birthday was a BUSY fun day! We started the day with breakfast at McDonald's (old McDonald's) as Liberty likes to call it. Then my mom came and picked her up for some grandma shopping time. Then she went to preschool where we sent her with cupcakes to share with her class. After preschool Liberty choose to see a movie so Kelsey watched Paisley for me while Liberty and I saw the last Ice Age. It was so fun! We then rushed home so we could be there for when the family came over for cake and ice cream. WOW! Busy busy fun day!

Another Wonderful Trip to the Cabin

Cabin trips never fail, they are always a good time! In september we finally found time to bring my family up to the Williamson's Cabin. It was AMAZING weather and I'd be ok with we made this a yearly trip. The first day it was just us and my mom, and everyone else got there late that night. It was a nice quite day spent with Grandma Janet.

Liberty learning how to drive the quad and she loved it!
There was a huge rain storm that hit a few days before we came, it must have been a crazy storm cause it cause a lot of damage in the creek. Look at this grave yard of worms! The creek was running so fast and hard that it took out a lot of the dirt and widened the creek and good foot or so, and because of this all these poor worms lost their underground home. haha so gross!

Getting the fire started as we waited for the rest of the family to get there.

 Mason and his friends

It's not a cabin trip without a puzzle
 Yay, cousins to play with!
Thanks again to the Williamson's for always being willing to open up the cabin to us. It was a blast! Thanks family! Until next time!

Jeff's 28th Birthday

On Jeff's Birthday this year he was able to take a half day at work and we PARTIED as a family! First stop bowling!

This was the first time the girls had been bowling. Liberty was NOT excited that this was the plan for Daddy's birthday, but once we got there and got started she LOVED it!

After we hit up Joe's Farm grill for dinner and gifts! We gave Jeff a new pair of indoor soccer shoes, and a new shirt. After Joe's we took the girls to my mom and we went out to a movie! It was a fun day. Happy Birthday Jeff!

Preschool Co-op

A few ladies on our ward decided to start up a preschool Co-op. I'm so happy that we jump on that opportunity. Liberty was so excited, but after the fist day she came home and said: That was fun mom but when does REAL school start haha.
She loves to learn and I'm so glad we are doing this. Since Liberty has a september birthday she still has 2 more years til REAL school, she needed something like this. I have to say I really enjoy the weeks when I don't teach :) School is Monday and Thursdays from 12:00 - 2:30. On the days I don't teach we run Liberty to school and Paisley and I hurry home for a 2.5 hour nap! Life is bliss on those days! It has also been so much fun to be Liberty's teacher a few times a month. All the kids in the class are so good, and they all get along so well. Liberty little do you know this is the start to a very long road of school! :) enjoy it while it's still fun!

Teeth

This summer Liberty got a new smile. I took her the dentist in May, and I knew we were gonna be in for a treat, cause yes I'm the worlds worst mom and am HORRIBLE at brushing teeth. Well It was so much worse than I thought. :( Yes she has a mouth full of cavities but we also found out she has a cross bite, her top jaw is smaller them her bottom one. Anyways after talking to the dentist (who is amazing!) we decided the best corse of action to start on her long dental journey would be to pull her top 2 teeth. And around 8 years old she will have a retainer but in to help stretch her top jaw. I left that appointment in tears! I felt sooo horrible like I did this to her. Good thing is she LOVES not having her her 2 teeth, and having the tooth fairy come was soo exciting. She is so cute without those teeth. Jeff and I joked that she got even more sassy after she lost those teeth. That toothless smile makes her seem so sneaky and sassy all the time. Needless to say I have been a brushing teeth nazi since then. My poor kids have horrible baby teeth, I have never seen kids with crooked baby teeth but our poor kids do. Another SAD note I just found out that our dentist no longer takes our insurance, I am DEVASTATED i seriously loved him and I hate to switch dentist mid treatment :(

Baby Doll Scavenger Hunt

A few months ago, our poor family and I run in with the flu. So after about 2 weeks of staying home with sick kids, Jeff told me it was his turn. He got out of all his meetings and came home to let me go to church. When I came home I was greeted with  a lovely surprise. A baby doll scavenger hunt. They gathered up all the baby dolls (12 baby dolls!!!) and hide them around the house with clues for me to find them. They were so excited and it was so cute. The last clue lead me to the freezer where there was a baby made out of peanut butter goopies haha Jeff is the best dad and does so many fun things with the girls.
