11 Months Old

It seems like over night my little baby has turned into a toddler :( She is growing up so fast. We went to go visit a few new babies this week of family and friends and its so sad to see how big she really is. I can't believe she is almost a year old. Where has the time gone. I remember when I put up the little birthday ticker on my blog thinking that this day would never come!!! And now it's here. Liberty is such an active girl getting into everything! She took her first steps on Aug. 20th. She took a few wobbly steps for about 2 days and then just took off. It is so crazy and cute to see this little girl walking around. She looks so small. She is pointing at everything. She knows what she wants and points at it until I figure out what it is. She also loves to say Hi. She says Hi to everyone! It makes a very awkward trip to the store for me, but of course everyone thinks it's so cute. She is my little best friend, it's such a wonderful feeling being a mom. You just love them so much and feel so connected to them. Liberty thanks for letting me be your mom! I love you!

Phase .5

8/1/09
We finally got our computer up and running so I'm doing a little blog catch up.
Last Saturday we went out to see if any work had been started on our house, and to our wonderful surprise there was! I'm not what you would call this phase. Pre foundation and pluming phase? Or phase .5? haha Whatever it is at least it was something! We can't wait!

Goodbye Old Friend

We finally said our final goodbye to the house. We did our walk through this morning and passed. YAY! It seems like it has taken us forever to get completely moved out. It has been bitter sweet for me. I am really going to miss this chapter of our lives. I loved this house, it's crazy that we only lived here for 2 years yet so much has happened. If the walls could talk :) We came home from our honeymoon to this home and brought our first little baby home to this house. Oh so many memories. I will miss the campus life. I loved having the gym, the track, the swimming pool and all the parks right here in my back yard. I'll miss walking Jeff to class and even more I'll miss seeing him after work for a few min before he has to run to class. I will miss the ward.... ok so I'll miss the very few friends we made in the ward :) It was weird to go to a non student ward last week. It was so quite. and I actually listened in Sunday School and Relief society. Only because I didn't have Michelle and Kaylyn to talk to :) I will miss our Wal Mart!! That was thee best Wal Mart EVER!!! It was so clean never busy and always "normal" people shopping there.
Oh my gosh I'm getting emotional as I write this lol. It's been hard to get excited about our house since we are kinda in Limbo right now waiting for it to be built but I really can't wait. We are blessed to be able to save a little money before we move in.
So goodbye house #1 you will always be the house with the funny memories that we tell our children and grandchildren about. They will die when we tell them our walls were cement and there was NO carpet. And that we had to sign a release form to live among the lead infested walls and dirt! But it was fun!

10 Months

Oh Liberty please stop getting so big! This last month we have seen your personality just explode! You were born with a little feisty spirit but now you are all sass! In a good way (sometimes haha) You sure know what you want! Its been hard on you adjusting to a home these last 2 weeks, but you are still such a good girl. You used to be 100% Daddy's girl but the last few nights all you want is me! I know sometimes I am really tired and can be grouchy but I love that you want to cuddle with me all night! I know I'm new at this mom thing so thank you for telling me how to do everything. From what you want to eat to how to but you to bed. For a little girl who doesn't talk you sure no how to tell us something :) Your smile is getting bigger by the day, you are also more willing to share it with others these days. I love just your little teeth and how they show when you smile! Your cousin Kallie is teaching you all the ways of how to be a puppy but you prefer to be a monkey! You sound like a monkey and move like a monkey too.
A few months ago I thought for sure you would be walking by now, but like I said you have your own time line for everything and that's ok. Now you never want to stand alone like you once loved to do. You would rather come take mine or daddy's finger and have US walk you around the house. It's fun seeing you move but I think it would be more fun if you did it on your own. But it's ok take your time I know you will walk when your ready. We sure love you Liberty!
At 10 months Liberty is:
*weighs 17 lbs 10 oz
*You are starting to eat ALOT! and that makes me happy! She has always been such a picky eater.
*Smiling all the time.
*figuring our new words, like ba ba
*Still cruising the couches and coffee table.

Showing us how you can stand, when you want to

Ok daddy your turn to walk me around the house

Being a little dare devil monkey, climbing on everything!

Just making a quick phone call :) I think it's so funny that kids pick up on this so young.
