and now 2012!

I guess I need to get out the camera more this year, 

A few weeks ago we went to see the Gilbert Temple and it's progress. We are so excited for this to be our new temple. I told Liberty that she will be 4 when this temple is all finished, and now every time we drive by she says: Mom am I 4 yet? :) 

We plan to go back as much as possible to watch the progress! 

 When life gives you lemons...

We are on a fresh lemonade kick over here. We have been juicing lemons and enjoying the fresh lemonade. 

October to December

Let's start with Halloween. I LOVE Halloween, I love dressing up and I love that I have children to dress up. Liberty came up with her costume all on her own. She wanted to be a super hero princess. I tried to talk her out of it like the controlling mother that I am :), but she had her heart set on it, so we ran with it. I love how it turned out. 

My mom and Lindsey's family joined us for our ward trunk or treat, it was great to have them with us. 

 And here is the worlds cutest chicken! I saw this on the internet and new I had to make this for Paisley, she was SO cute! And it ended up being super easy to make. 

 Jeff is most always the mastermind behind our costumes, this year we went as Rafaela and April O'neal 

 Liberty and her little friend Abby 

 This year was our 2nd time going to the PCH Nero NICU reunion, and it was so wonderful to see all of our favorite nurses and Doctors from PCH.

 This little guy was our neighbor in the NICU you, he got to PCH the same night as Paisley in fact the reason I got to see her before she was taken to PCH was because we were waiting for the helicopter to drop off this little guy and come get paisley. It was so good to see him and his parents.

In November we went to a pumpkin patch with Jeff's family and had so much fun with all the other activities they had. 

 Oh to live the life of a girl! I love my little girls and how they love to play dress up. They are becoming such great friends and I love to watch them together.

We went to go see santa again this year, to my surprise there were no tears this time. Both girls loved it. 

We wrote our letters to santa. It was fun this year, cause Liberty told us what she wanted :) She wanted 2 barbie dolls and a Trampoline. Well she got the barbies but not the trampoline haha maybe next year santa will have more room in his budget :) 

 We went to the Williamson Family Christmas Party and Liberty plated the angle in the Nativity. 

 This year my mom went above and beyond she gave us a chest full of wrapped christmas books with an advent candle. every night we would burn the candle and read a new christmas book. We LOVE books over at our house and this made the christmas season all that more special. Thanks mom! 

 We have started a new tradition of going to the Olive Garden for christmas eve, I LOVE it. No big dinner to cook or to clean up after on that busy busy night. 

 After the Olive Garden my mom and a few siblings came over and we made cookies for Santa, played some games, and wrapped a LOT of gifts. I had not wrapped ONE gift until that night. NEVER AGAIN!! 

 Christmas Morning was magical, and I think every year with kids gets better and better. The girls LOVED all the gifts and it was fun to watch them both get so excited. 

 We went to go see the temple lights with my dad, It has been a few years since I have been able to go and enjoy the lights and I'm so glad that we went. 

...and on to 2012!! 

Fail!

Remember when I said I was going to blog everyday this year and it last like a week, ya that was a good one! I don't know what has happened but I have lost ALL motivation to keep up with my blog. But the guilt keeps knocking at my door, if I don't blog I have NOTHING! This is my scrapbook and my journal,  I know SAD! so anyways here is so trying better.

 Today I caught Liberty about to cut Paisley's hair, I screamed and lucky caught her before she actually cut! What makes kids all want to cut hair?

I have BANGS!!! 

I have been thinking about cutting bangs for months now. Well today we were at Lindsey's house hanging out waiting for dinner with my dad, we were watching Private Practice (my new obsession) and there was a charter on there with bangs. I paused the show and said that's it! I want bangs lets do it NOW! we all jumped up and started laughing, I was so nervous, we were all so nervous while they were being cut, I closed my eyes until I got to bathroom to look at my new look.  I LOVE THEM!! It's a fun new change and I needed that.

I LOVE having Kelsey and Craig living with us, it's nice to have the company during the day. Plus they help cook and clean. Really I'm starting to wonder why we don't live choose to live in multi family houses, it really is a great thing we have going here :) 

Craig is so good with my girls, today Craig and Liberty were playing in the backyard with their swords (sticks) it was so cute to watch. 

8th

I hate shopping, I refuse to go with kids so I usually end up going late at night. Well with Kelsey and Craig here I needed to go stock up on food. It was nice having them around to watch the girls while I went shopping. Well as you can see, I really needed to go shopping. haha I think this was my biggest trip ever!!
