Easter 2012

I love Easter, and just like every other year, we had a wonderful day! It started early, we found our baskets and hunted for eggs. It was so fun this year, both girls were so excited and really got into looking for eggs.
I SCORED this year at the dollar store and loaded up the girls baskets. Really I was so impressed with this dollar store that my mom told me about in mesa. It's pretty cool :)

The good thing about having little kids is, that you don't have to do everything in order. After our egg hunt we came in and boiled eggs. We did a quick coloring of eggs ate them and got ready for church :)

After Church we went over to my moms to have dinner and another egg hunt. We had for the kids and one for the "big" kids. As always it was a BLAST! My mom found eggs (at said dollar store) that were filled with confetti so you can see the excitement that was had as we figured this out while we are all searching for the money eggs during the adult egg hunt. It was SO FUNNY!
I took pictures of the girls in their Easter dresses at the temple, I will post those next.

A New Sister

YAY! It finally happened, Brooke and Austin are married!
Back in February we put together a bridal shower for Brooke. It was so fun for us to be able to do this for our new sister. It helped that we had it in her already beautiful and charming backyard.

It was a great turn out with so many wonderful family and friends.

We played a game called "He said, She said" you hold up a crown if you think it was Brooke's answer and a mustache if you think Austin said it. It was SOO funny. They both had the most hilarious anwers. Plus it made for great pictures.

Not your typical game of how well do you know your groom. We blind folded Brooke and then had the guys walk out and she had to guess what legs were Austin's. She had NO idea what guys were there. It was so funny to watch and in the end she knew her groom :)

It was a whole new experience this time around, it was fun to be on the groom end of it all this time. All of us girls made it our mission to give Brooke the BEST wedding dinner. I think we pulled it off :)

These two are so in love, and have the best support group of friends and family. It was seriously the best wedding dinner I have ever been to. The toasts that were made left us all laughing and crying! They also showed their wedding video here, and it wasn't your typical wedding video. It was AMAZING! I wish I had a copy to share.

The wedding day!
Everything was PERFECT!

The Reception was at Brooke's parents house house and it was AMAZING!! Seriously pictures can not do it justice. It was so cute! Well done Stirling family! :)

It was a FUN night! Congrats Austin and Brooke!

Paisley

Paisley is growing up so fast!
Some things about Paisley:
She doesn't like to watch TV like her sister, but if she does watch it she loves the show Yo Gabba Gabba.
She is talking like crazy!! She calls Liberty "B" If you ask her where Liberty is (while Liberty is out of the room) she will look around and then hold up her hand and shrug her shoulders and say I don't know!
She will also walk around the house saying B where are you!?!
She loves to play with Liberty, they have so much fun playing in their room or out in the back yard.
She loves her daddy
She has so many teeth!
She sings!! haha She walk around the house singing happy birthday all day long. It sounds like this appy birday too eww. SO CUTE!!
Also anytime you go to put her to bed she will start to sing Twinkle Twinkle. enikle enikle are!
She LOVES shoes
It amazes me everyday to hear her laughing and talking!

Liberty

Liberty is growing up so fast! The saddest part about me not blogging anymore is that I'm missing out on remembering all the wonderful moments with my children.

Liberty is getting so TALL! The last time we took her to the doctor she was in the 90%. That's crazy!! Must be from her tall parents :)
Right now Liberty is really into:
My Little Ponies we watch that show 24/7 around here.
She loves to collect rocks, everywhere we go she HAS to pick a rock or 10 and wants to take them all home.
She LOVES being a big sister. She will tell me about 5 times a day. "mom, I'm a good big sister right!?"
She is leaning so many new words it's crazy! She talks like an adult and it kills me. The other day she came up to me and asked me what my catch phrase was!! haha She said it was Oh my goodness!
She loves to learn, I need to be better at it but she loves it when we have preschool together.
She asks to go the Mall at least 3 times a week!
She also loves Hello Kitty and loves me to do hello kitty hair. (two little buns on top of her head, like hello kitty ears)
She loves books, and the reading the scriptures every night
She is loving being a sunbeam.
She sings I'm a child of God all day long.

These are a few things that come to mind about my Liberty girl right now.

and now 2012!

I guess I need to get out the camera more this year,
A few weeks ago we went to see the Gilbert Temple and it's progress. We are so excited for this to be our new temple. I told Liberty that she will be 4 when this temple is all finished, and now every time we drive by she says: Mom am I 4 yet? :)
We plan to go back as much as possible to watch the progress!
 When life gives you lemons...
We are on a fresh lemonade kick over here. We have been juicing lemons and enjoying the fresh lemonade.

October to December

Let's start with Halloween. I LOVE Halloween, I love dressing up and I love that I have children to dress up. Liberty came up with her costume all on her own. She wanted to be a super hero princess. I tried to talk her out of it like the controlling mother that I am :), but she had her heart set on it, so we ran with it. I love how it turned out.

My mom and Lindsey's family joined us for our ward trunk or treat, it was great to have them with us.

And here is the worlds cutest chicken! I saw this on the internet and new I had to make this for Paisley, she was SO cute! And it ended up being super easy to make.

Jeff is most always the mastermind behind our costumes, this year we went as Rafaela and April O'neal

Liberty and her little friend Abby

This year was our 2nd time going to the PCH Nero NICU reunion, and it was so wonderful to see all of our favorite nurses and Doctors from PCH.

Nurses: Karla and Christine with Dr C.
This little guy was our neighbor in the NICU you, he got to PCH the same night as Paisley in fact the reason I got to see her before she was taken to PCH was because we were waiting for the helicopter to drop off this little guy and come get paisley. It was so good to see him and his parents.

In November we went to a pumpkin patch with Jeff's family and had so much fun with all the other activities they had.

Oh to live the life of a girl! I love my little girls and how they love to play dress up. They are becoming such great friends and I love to watch them together.
 Bass Pro Shop
We went to go see santa again this year, to my surprise there were no tears this time. Both girls loved it.

We wrote our letters to santa. It was fun this year, cause Liberty told us what she wanted :) She wanted 2 barbie dolls and a Trampoline. Well she got the barbies but not the trampoline haha maybe next year santa will have more room in his budget :)
We went to the Williamson Family Christmas Party and Liberty plated the angle in the Nativity.
This year my mom went above and beyond she gave us a chest full of wrapped christmas books with an advent candle. every night we would burn the candle and read a new christmas book. We LOVE books over at our house and this made the christmas season all that more special. Thanks mom!
We have started a new tradition of going to the Olive Garden for christmas eve, I LOVE it. No big dinner to cook or to clean up after on that busy busy night.

After the Olive Garden my mom and a few siblings came over and we made cookies for Santa, played some games, and wrapped a LOT of gifts. I had not wrapped ONE gift until that night. NEVER AGAIN!!
Christmas Morning was magical, and I think every year with kids gets better and better. The girls LOVED all the gifts and it was fun to watch them both get so excited.

We went to go see the temple lights with my dad, It has been a few years since I have been able to go and enjoy the lights and I'm so glad that we went.

...and on to 2012!!
