Happy Thanksgiving!
This year we are thankful for so much! Our beautiful family, our health, the gospel, employment, a roof over our heads, wonderful friends and extended family, and so much more. We have been so blessed and couldn't ask for more. We are most extremely thankful for our beautiful baby girl, Liberty. She brings such joy to our home and is guaranteed to put a smile on our faces each and every day. Jeff put together a short video of all the cute and funny faces Liberty makes. It's up on Youtube so you can all watch it and see just how entertaining she can be!

Liberty is now 2 months old. Where has the time gone? The past 2 months feel like one big long wonderful day.
This is her cute tongue smile I finally got on camera.

Help me with Laundry.
Liberty is such a sweetie she brings a smile to my face every day. She is growing so fast.
Liberty now weighs 10 lbs 9 oz (45 percentile) and is 22 1/2 in. (50th percentile) she gained almost 3 pounds and grown 2 in. since birth.
This month has gotten better and better every day, her medicine is working and making things easier on all of us. It's fun to actually see her happy sometimes.

Back to Work
I know I have been so blessed and lucky. Bank of America rocks and gives 8 weeks paternity leave. It has been such a blessing to have Jeff home with me. I'm pretty sure I would not of made it though these past 8 weeks without his help. I am so blessed to have such a wonderful husband. We have had so much fun together spending so much time cooped up in our little house. He has laughed with me and held me as I cried on those oh so many break down moments. I know he will miss us while he is at work, and we will miss him more than he knows. Thanks Jeff for all you do and for being my number one. I love you more than ever!
We also decided that I will not be going back to work. We prayed about it and we don't know exactly how we are going to get by but we are going by our faith and putting this all in the Lords hands and we know it will work, Liberty needs me at home. I just worry about Jeff between work and school he will be gone from 8am to 9pm. He is so wonderful and is determined to finish school and work the whole time to support our family. He is so great, and I am very lucky to be able to be home with Liberty all day.Monday, November 3, 2008
Here's to hoping things get better
Well today we took Liberty to the Dr. Things were just getting so hard and sad with Miss Liberty and her Colic. It was after a very long night of both Liberty and I in tears all night long that i knew I needed to take her in. I had already cut out all dairy out of my diet hoping this would make a difference after 3 weeks of being so good and not noticing a difference I was very frustrated, it was a inside battle with my self every time I fed her cause I felt like I was making her sick. She still just cries and cries with a tight little tummy and can't get her gas out. It's heart breaking when you know she is trying to be happy, like last night she was all smiles for my mom and all of sudden her tummy churns and here comes her "crying fits" its so sad! My poor baby is in pain and there is nothing I can do. Well today we took her in,and they think it is reflex and they are putting her on Zantac. We will go back to the Dr. in 2 weeks for Liberty's 2 month well check. So we are hoping to see some improvement in the next two weeks. I'm really really really hoping it helps. And I hope it helps her sleep better at night :)

So many faces
I have never met a baby that makes so many funny/serious faces!! Liberty cracks us up all day long with her faces. The other morning Liberty was taking a nap on the couch and she just looked so dang cute I had to take her picture. While she slept I was cleaning up the kitchen and getting some laundry done. After a while a could her some grunts and coo's coming from the couch I walk over and see Liberty making these faces LOL!!

My favorite thing in the world right now is this cute smile Liberty makes with her tongue sticking out! So cute!! But she will never let me get it on camera! I'll keep trying~
Happy Halloween!

Liberty's Blessing Day
Yesterday was such a wonderful day! We blessed little Liberty. It was kinda last minute, the week before we found out that yesterday was going to be our fast Sunday so we had a week to put this all together but it was still wonderful. That morning my mom, Grammy, Tiffany and Mason came over to help us get ready for church it was so nice to have my mom help get Liberty ready so Jeff and I could get ready. I was holding back tears all morning. It's so secret that I am a very emotional person and all morning I just keep thinking of how crazy it is that this is my life. I have a wonderful little baby and a wonderful husband who is able to bless her. I have dreamed of this day since young women's and I can't believe am at this point in my life. I remember when Jeff and I had broke up and I was having such a hard time with everything one day my mom and I were sitting on our bed and she was listening to me as I cried and cried. She looked at me and said Amy some day we will be sitting here looking out the window on your little kids playing outside with a wonderful man as your husband and we will laugh and think these days of sadness were all worth it for this moment. My mom and I talked about this conversation last night and I can't believe how fast my life turned around. And Last night I did look out that window and see Jeff out there with my family and Liberty and I just smiled! I'm so lucky to have the life I have and so blessed that it all worked out for the best.
Anyways back to the blessing :) It was so perfect I felt kinda out of it all day and kinda feel bad I don't think I talked to anyone really (so sorry everyone I really appreciate you all being there, especially Jeff's family I know I didn't even talk to most of you but I'm happy you all made it!) Jeff did a wonderful job on the Blessing. I felt the spirit so strong during her blessing and I can't wait to see the love and happiness that Liberty brings into this world. After we went to Jeff's parents house for a little lunch. Thanks to the Williamson's for letting us use their home. Again thanks to everyone who made it. For me it was weird to have half my family missing with Kelsey in Utah Austin is Washington and my Dad and Family in Montana. We sure missed them.
