Christmas Morning!

Christmas Morning started bright and early and as always it was the not the kids waking everyone up! We tried to wait patiently for Grammie to come over but I think we went ahead and saw what Santa brought before she got there. I just LOVE that we always get to have Grammie with us on Christmas. Every year she comes and watches us open our gifts. We were all spoiled this year. Jeff and I bought a new TV so we said that would be our Christmas. Well he decided to go above and beyond and also give me a silhouette (It's the greatest thing in the crafting world! I have been wanting one forever and never thought I would get one) lets just say I owe him for life :) Santa brought Jeff a few power tools that will come in handing for the crafts I have in mind. (That Santa he is so nice to think of me while giving to Jeff)
We always draw names for the sibling gift exchange, but this year it was decided that we would skip that since funds were tight for all of us.
Well Austin, Tiffany and Mason decided to get all the kids a gift from them. I thought that was SOOO thoughtful of them. They are young and could spend their money on so many other things but they wanted to do this for all of us and it was so nice!

Santa brought Liberty a new baby doll and a stocking full of little toys, books and coloring books. After opening her baby doll that's all she wanted and didn't want to open anymore gifts. She would get so upset after we would take away the gift she just opened so she could open another one. By the end she was able to open a present all by herself, it was so cute!

The night ended at the Williamson's where we received more wonderful gifts and had lots of fun with the sibling white elephant gift exchange. It was the longest but most fun white elephant I have ever played. Jeff walked away with a camel pack, and me, after getting all my gifts stolen decided to end the game and pick the last unopened gift which were the movies we had bought :)
(I forgot my camera so no pictures sorry)

Random picture, but Liberty has now taken this whole dog obsession to a new level and we are a little worried :)

Saturday Morning we headed over to my Dad's and Gail's for a another wonderful Christmas. It was so great to be able to spend Christmas with him this year. (we really missed not being able to last year) Thanks Dad and GG for all the wonderful gift "money." Check out all the cute ways they gave us the money.
We feel so blessed to have such wonderful family that we can spend this holiday season with. I hope you all had a WONDERFUL Christmas as well

Christmas Eve Dinner

What a wonderful Christmas we had this year! As always it was great to be able to spend it with family. We decided to keep with tradition and we all slept over at Lindsey and Reggie's house. We ate yummy dinner of Soup in bread bowls.
haha sorry kelsey I had to post this picture :) LOL

Then we opened the oh so famous "Grandma's Jammie's" This year after much guilt from last year (haha) my mom gave us ALL PJ's :)
The Grand kids Jammie's say "What Santa doesn't bring me Grandma will!" This statement could not be more true!! :) We love Grandma!

Then we put on a (first time using these puppets) puppet show Nativity, Lindsey and Kelsey were the puppeteers. We thought the kids would love it, they did but I don't think they listened! Preston was laughing so hard every time they would hold up a puppet from behind our "stage" It was so cute!
Another first this year was making gingerbread houses. This was a great idea again provided by grandma Janet. It was a BLAST although I'm not sure if it should return next year :) As always it became a competition! It started out good fun but in the end I think the "trash talk" got a little much for some haha. When Jeff and I opened out little kit the roof was broken, I thought oh no that's it how can we compete with the Kelsey and Austin team. You know me we HAD to win. Well lucky for me I have the most creative husband ever! The no roof thing became a huge advantage to us, as you could see into our house. One thing lead to another and by the time I had the out side of our house done, Jeff had decked out the inside of our house. We had a big screen TV, a couch, tree, fireplace, rug, the works! It was awesome!!!!

Time off is the BEST!

So this going private thing is a little over whelming It might take me longer to do it than I thought so keep leaving your email address.

Jeff has had this whole week off of work. We decided to (again) have a stay cation :) I loved every minute of having him home. I think I was the one on Vacation. Liberty was a sleeping beauty this week and was going to bed around 8 and sleeping in til 9:30, it was GREAT! Even with her sleeping in Jeff would get her from her bed and make breakfast while I stayed in bed sleeping. LAZY!!! It was so great to stay in PJ's all day. We tackled a few projects around the house we have been trying to get down. We just about finished our Christmas shopping. And we even took Family pictures yesterday.
Liberty is so cute while she watches Baby Einstein. She must have her pillow and she always has her hands on her face like this.
She is also such a MONKEY!!! She climbs on the table to try to play with our Nativity set, we finally had to move our chairs into the other room.
I have caught the bug, the CRAFT bug. I spent the week finishing up some old unfinished crafts I think I started last year. It feels great to have most of them done now.
Jeff and Liberty washed the car...

And Jeff's big project, he built us some shelves for the garage. He would like to add a side note that he is not a professional so don't look close. I think he did a GREAT job!

Liberty was a big help as always.

Oh and we finally put up her swing that she got from her birthday!
Vacation week done.... Christmas here we COME!!!

So behind and just not feeling it..

Dear Blog sorry I have not been updating you, This is what we have been up to...
Liberty fell asleep talking on the phone :)
Liberty has found her new favorite play place.
We went to go see Santa at the San Tan Mall but Liberty wanted NOTHING to do with him. So we just hung out with the fam

We had thanksgiving on a Pirate Ship and it was yummy! (the food not the ship)

We went to the Gilbert Days Rodeo with friends and had a blast. Good thing daddy is a bank celebrity and got us in for free plus rides!

Boy have I been in a weird funk lately I need to snap out of it, My little family is growing up so fast and I am missing it all. I need to get behind that camera again where I belong so I will always remember this time I had with my family and how much I love them. Liberty is such a joy. I can't imagine life without her. She is filled from head to toe with sass and I LOVE it!!!

Liberty Loves her Pillow

Sure most kids love a blanket or a teddy bear, not Liberty she LOVES her pillow, she has to have it with her everywhere she goes. She sleeps with it and every morning she wants it out of her crib so she can carry it around with all day long.It even came shopping with us during black Friday :)
The funny thing is that it use to be the pillows we used on our bed, and we both LOVE those pillows as well, but being the nice and wonderful parents that we are one of us had to give up our pillow for Liberty. So now every night Jeff and I fight over the one pillow like that left on our bed. What can I say its a GREAT pillow!

Camping in November

A few weeks ago we went camping, we have been wanting to go but thought it was too late in the year and it was going to be too cold, well good thing we live in AZ cause it was not cold at all and we had a blast!

Everyone went to the peppersauce caves to do a little exploring, while Liberty and I stayed back at the camp, boy was that a bad idea, I was so board. Also the night before I had watch a news special on the kid napping of Jaycee Dugar and I was scared out of my mind the whole time. Other than that 3 hours of being alone it was fun!
