What's Baby #3

On February 12th we found out what baby #3 was. We were all so excited! Liberty and Paisley kept singing: Brother or a Sister, Brother or a Sister, all morning. I made everyone take before and after gender reveal pictures. Before we went I asked everyone what they thought the baby was. Liberty had been saying forever that she thought it was a brother but in the last few weeks before we found out she changed her answer to a sister. Jeff as always thought girl. I thought girl but was hoping for a boy. Paisley said she wanted a baby brudder.
It was so fun having the girls in the ultrasound room. Very distracting, but fun! As soon as we got to the gender party of the ultrasound the tech looked at me and said you can tell? I laughed and said yep I've seen that before, it's a girl! The silence after that was so funny, everyone was so disappointed! Even Liberty kept saying No it's a boy. We are definitely NOT disappointed but it was funny that it took all of us awhile to let it sink in that we are really having another girl!
After the shock wore off, I am now sooo excited and can't wait to have 3 little girls! I always loved having my sisters growing up and I'm so happy my girls get to have those same friendships!

December overload

Decorating the Christmas Tree

Jeff had some time off in December so we took the girls Falcon Field Air Museum for breakfast.
Family night, looking at temple lights

Last minute we decided to take a quick over night trip to flagstaff to play in the snow. Liberty has been asking for a while to go see snow. The girls loved the snow but that didn't last long. They rolled around so much they quickly became too wet and cold to enjoy the rest of the day.
It was so fun to watch the girls explore the snow. We stopped at Target in Flagstaff and bought a few sleds. I think Jeff and I enjoyed the sleds more then the girls did.
I think staying in the hotel room trumped everything for the girls on this trip. They loved it! After a few hours in the snow we checked into our hotel room and took a little rest. We then got ready and headed out to dinner. After dinner we took full advantage of the indoor heated pool and hot tub. It was so amazing!
We hosted a family night of building ginger bread houses.

This year santa paid a visit during the Williamson Family Christmas party. Our girls were so excited. What a fun night with family. Liberty, Paisley and Cousin Ally all got My Little Pony toys.
Christmas Eve was spent at the Asburry's home where we had dinner, opened jammies and played a few games.

Every Christmas gets better and better with kids. Liberty was so excited to leave out cookies and milk for santa.
We always are very willing to have family sleep over on christmas. The more the merrier on christmas morning!

Both the girls got bikes from Santa. Our big gift to the girls was a doll house. It turned out to be one of our best purcahes ever! The girls spent days playing with the doll house non stop!
Tiffany had the great idea to finally give mom a stocking. We had never thought of it, but no one ever gave mom a stocking. It was a great idea and her happiness over it was so fun. A new tradition for sure!
Christmas morning always goes by too fast and it pure craziness. But it is always a blast!

I love being a mom

I love these girls so much! I feel so blessed to be able to be their mom and that I get to stay home with them. We had such a fun morning at the park playing and feeding the ducks.

We're Having a Baby! (a little personal, read at your own risk)

Finding out I was pregnant this time around was an amazing experience and one I don't want to forget. Baby hunger had set in pretty bad around here and finally after months of Jeff begging me to go to the Doctor I finally made an appointment to get my IUD taken out and to find out if more children were possible for us. I have been wanting a baby for a LONG time but making that appointment was so hard for me, I didn't want to hear bad news so for now no news was good enough for me, that still left hope. Well I went in to get my IUD taken out and then set an appointment for the next week to get an ultrasound done to make sure my old uterus was up to the task of carrying another child. My Doctor gave us encouragement saying if he did as good of a job as he thinks he did repairing my uterus we should be ok to get pregnant but of course getting an ultrasound was a good idea just to be safe.
It ended up that my ultrasound was the day before my mom went in for her hysterectomy surgery. I sent her a text from the doctors office saying isn't kinda funny that I'm going to see if I can have more babies the day before you take your uterus out. haha Well we had the ultrasound done, and just like most people when they hear my story the ultrasound tech was surprised with our out come and said she would be surprised if I would be able to carry another baby. My high hopes lowered a little bit after that. We met with my doctor right after the ultrasound the first thing he said when he walked in was well we have some things to talk about. He said that from the ultrasound my uterus looked like it had healed very nice and he would be okay with giving us the thumbs up to try to get pregnant. He then said but we did notice something else in the ultrasound that we need to talk about. He said i have something called poly cystic ovary syndrome (pcos). He said it's one of the most common causes of infertility in women. I had heard of this, I know MANY friends who have this and who have been trying for years to get pregnant. My high hopes at this point went flying out the door. I was doing all I could to hold in the tears. On the medical side he said that we could use fertility treatments to try to conceive if we were not able to on our own. His advise was to make an appointment for 6 weeks out and if I hadn't had a period by then we could talk about options. The whole time I can only think about the non-medical side of this. Maybe this was a sign that it wasn't a good idea. Maybe this was Heavenly Father saying don't do it, it's not going to have a good outcome. Plus during all of this Jeff was SMILING while talking to the doctor, I wanted to hurt him! haha Just kidding not really but I knew what he was thinking. Jeff has always been more hesitant about having more kids than I have. I don't blame  him one bit. He always says: Amy, you weren't on the other side, all of sitting in that waiting room thought you were going to die. I don't want to lose my wife or a baby. I feel the same way. I don't want  another baby just to die in child birth and leave my children without a mother. But i still have hope and knew my Heavenly Father had a plan for our family. We left the doctors office and I the minute the car door shut I lost it. I cried all the way to my moms where we told her the news. I knew it was going to take a lot of prayers from everyone to know what we should do.
It actually became a blessing having my mom be in the hospital for so long right after we found out about all of this. It kept my mind from dwelling on the pain and the thought of not being able to have another baby. One night while I was staying with my mom I just had a feeling that I was ovulating. Which is very rare for me, I never know when that is happening. Well last minute Kelsey was able to come stay the night with my mom so I was able to go home and be with my husband....
A few weeks after this 13 days to be exact I was reading my scriptures that morning and came across a verse that jumped out to me. Well jump back a few days, in church we had a lesson about trails and faith and we read in Ether 12: talking about faith and after the trail of our faith do we see the miracles. That gave me so much peace. I came home and shared it with Jeff. We both felt peace and thought, this is just a small time in our life that our faith is going to be tested. But we can over come this. Well this morning I went back to that chapter and kept reading I came across the verse that says those who have faith see miracles, and those who do not have faith see no miracles. I felt such joy! I thought to myself I may not be perfect but one thing I do have is faith. I always know Heavenly Father is there for me and if providing the best for me. I felt such happiness that morning as I was cleaning up the house. It was a Saturday and Jeff was at work. All of the sudden the thought came to me. Take a pregnancy test. I thought your crazy there is no way! The thought kept coming to me, so finally I went to go look in the bathroom and sure enough I had a pregnancy test. So I took it, all alone in the bathroom. It was one of the digital test, and it didn't take even take a minute it popped up pregnant!! I was in shock! All I could do was pace around my bedroom smiling from ear to ear. Then I said a pray and just CRIED! Why, why do you love me so much. The peace and thought of you silly girl, I wanted you to have this baby for a long time I just needed you to give me all your faith. I called out the girls and said: Girls get dressed we are going to see Daddy at work!! I never want to forget moments like this in our life when the love from our Heavenly Father and Savior are sooo strong. I really think this was all for Jeff, he needed the absolute assurance that this baby was supposed to happen. I'm also glad for the experience. The lord loves us, and I'm not saying trails won't and don't happen but for us, we didn't need to wait for this one. Our Miracle was brought to pass very quickly.

Halloween

I had a vision for this years Halloweens costumes, that was my first mistake! I tried with all my might to talk everyone into doing Wizard of Oz. I would be the wicked witch, Liberty the Good Which, Paisley Dorothy and Jeff the Scarecrow. Super cute right?! Well Liberty always as a mind of her own and last minute decided no way, she had to be Mona the Vampire. Don't know who Mona is? Oh how embarrassing haha JK come to find out it's a Canadian show that is now on netflix. Liberty was obsessed with it during Halloween. (Note: we haven't watched the show since)
Because of this sudden changed I last minute turned an old costume of my sister Tiffany's into a peacock tutu for Paisley.
Both Girls were super cute and super happy! Next year I'm gonna save my self a lot of trouble and let Liberty pick everyones costumes.
Some how we talked Kelsey, Craig, Austin and Brooke to tag along with us for Trick or Treating.
We heard that Chipotle was giving away free food to whom ever came dressed up. How on earth could you pass that up, so after a little Trick or Treating we ended the night eating a yummy dinner. It was a perfect halloween!

Miss Paisley's Birthday!

My Baby is 2! On Paisley's birthday we had a little party at my Dad's, since it fell on Thursday night dinner. It was a nice low key celebration and I loved it.
As soon as we started singing happy birthday to Paisley she got the cheesiest smile on her face and started rocking out to the song it was SOOO funny! I'm so glad we got it on film, we were all dying laughing.

The next day I put together a quick small little party for the cousins. Since my mom worked on her birthday this was a fun time to celebrate with her.
Of course it was a Dora themed party, I made a little MAP treasure hunt and sent the kids on a hunt to find the hidden treasure. We had the kids all singing Mail box, Grandmas Car, big green park! (all you Dora fans will get it)
All the kids had so much fun and it was a blast to put together. I told my mom, some people may thrive on big elaborate parties but not be I love last minute cheep amazingly fun parties. Happy Birthday Paisley we love you so much!

My Moms Birthday

I have the best mom in the entire world! I know everyone thinks that, but really I do :) We had so much fun celebrating her birthday this year. We spent the day with her and all the grandkids but then that night we hightailed out of there for a girls night! :)
Of course first stop was dinner at Joe's Farm Grill, it was so nice to sit and talk and enjoy our momma!
Brooke joined us later at Kelsey's apartment for our at home spa night! I recommend this to everyone! It was so much fun! We had pedicures, facials, back rubs. You name it! We had candles lit all over to set the mood, and also had amazing spa music playing in the background.

My mom said I gave her the best pedicure she has ever had ;)
We enjoyed so yummy cake and then watched a movie. It was seriously one of the best birthdays I think we have ever pulled off. We had so much fun! Happy Birthday Mom we love you soooo much!
